Day 1 - Depart Canada

Overnight flight to Santiago.

Day 2 - Welcome to Santiago

Upon arriving at Santiago’s International Airport, you will proceed through customs and immigration. After clearing these formalities, collect your luggage and exit the baggage hall, where a local representative holding an Air Canada Vacations sign with your name will welcome you. They will escort you to your hotel transfer for check-in. The remainder of the day is yours to spend at leisure.

Overnight stay in Santiago.

Day 3 - Santiago

After breakfast, a local guide will meet you in the hotel lobby to begin your full-day city tour, which includes a visit to San Cristóbal Hill.

After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel to enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Begin with a visit to the historic city center, where landmarks such as the Plaza de Armas, Metropolitan Cathedral, and La Moneda Palace showcase Santiago's rich heritage. Stroll through the bustling Central Market, brimming with local flavours and authentic Chilean culture.
Next, journey to the bohemian Barrio Lastarria neighbourhood, famous for its cobblestone streets, outdoor cafes, art galleries and vibrant cultural atmosphere. 
From there, ascend San Cristóbal Hill, one of the highest points in the city. The hill is home to the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Cerro San Cristóbal and if the weather is clear, you will be able to see the majestic mountain range that surrounds Santiago. 

 

Day 4 - Santiago – Easter Island

After breakfast and check-out, your private driver will transfer you to Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport for your flight to Easter Island.

Upon arrival, a local representative holding an Air Canada Vacations sign with your name will welcome you. They will escort you to your hotel transfer for check-in. After your island tour, spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 5 - Easter Island

After breakfast, meet your tour guide in the hotel lobby and embark on an exciting exploration of Easter Island's rich culture and history. Two captivating half-day tours await, offering an unforgettable journey through the island's ancient wonders and fascinating heritage.

Afterwards, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel, where you can relax and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

 More Moments Activities Included - Half-day Rano Kau, Orongo and Vinapu tour

Begin by driving to the extinct Rano Kau volcano, a geological marvel and a culturally significant site on Easter Island. 
Next, visit the ceremonial village of Orongo, where the Birdman ritual was performed, then proceed to Ahu Vinapu, an unrestored archaeological site that showcases evidence of the influence of early architects on Easter Island's culture. 
Our final stop is the Hanga Piko fishing port, a charming coastal bay where you will visit the restored Ahu Riata, an important cultural landmark.

More Moments Activities Included - Half-day Puna Pau, Ahu Akivi, Ana Te Pahu tour

Begin by driving to Ahu Akivi, noted for its seven moai statues. Then proceed to the Ahu Hanga Poukura. Some of the moai at Ahu Hanga Poukura are adorned with pukao, the distinctive bows made of red slag rock. It is believed that these bows had a symbolic or ritual importance in the Rapa Nui culture.
Then visit the Puna Pau quarry with its red slag rock. 
The last stop is Tahai, which features a group of restored and reconstructed moai statues. 

 

 

Day 6 - Easter Island

After breakfast, join your tour guide for another full day of exploration of this magnificent island, where culture, history, and breathtaking landscapes come together.

Afterwards, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel, where you can relax and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

First stop: Ahu Vaihu! Here you will see examples of unrestored moai statues.
Then visit Ahu Akahanga, where the famous king Hotu Matua was buried, and where several moai statues can be found. 
Continue to Rano Raraku, one of the most emblematic and significant archaeological sites on Easter Island. You will visit Ahu Tongariki, which has one of the largest collections of standing moai statues on the island. 
At the last stop, visit Anakena Beach, a paradise with soft white sand, crystal clear turquoise waters and palm trees, with its restored Ahus Nau Nau and Ature Huke. 

 

Day 7 - Easter Island - Santiago

After breakfast and check-out, your dedicated driver will transfer you to Mataveri International Airport for your flight to Santiago, Chile’s vibrant capital.

Upon arrival, collect your luggage and proceed to the exit, where a dedicated driver will greet you with an Air Canada Vacations sign with your name on it and take you to your hotel to check-in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 8 - Santiago - Cusco

After breakfast and check-out, your dedicated driver will transfer you to Comodoro Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport for your flight to Cusco.

After, collect your luggage and proceed to the exit, where a dedicated driver will greet you with an Air Canada Vacations sign with your name on it. They will take you to your hotel to check-in and freshen up for this afternoon’s adventure.

Time to explore magical Cusco! Start this half-day tour at Cusco’s main square, which was called Huacaypata (Warriors Square) by the Incas.
Next, continue to Koricancha and the Convent of Santo Domingo. The convent was built on top of the most important Inca temple dedicated to the worship of the sun, with walls covered with gold leaf. Wander through the streets of what once was the capital of the Inca Empire.
After exploring Cusco, head to the nearby ruins, including the Sacsayhuaman Fortress with its immense temple walls made of huge stones, the red fort Puca Pucara, the Qenko Amphitheater, Tambomachay and the Inca baths. 

 

Day 9 - Cusco

After breakfast, meet your tour guide in the hotel lobby for a full-day journey through the traditional Sacred Valley, where hidden treasures and timeless beauty await.

This full-day tour begins with a visit to the Pisac Andean market, which provides insight into the region’s heritage, with plenty of opportunities for shopping.
In the afternoon, you’ll explore the Ollantaytambo Ruins. Among the highlights of this well-preserved site is Hanan Huacaypata, featuring intricately crafted stone walls.
The tour concludes with a visit to Chinchero, a village renowned for its exquisite textiles and rich Inca history. 

 

Day 10 - Cusco

After breakfast, your tour guide will lead you on the highlight of your Peruvian journey: a full-day tour to the iconic Machu Picchu, where ancient wonders and stunning vistas await.

Transfer to the train station to board the vistadome train. On arrival, walk to the bus station to take your bus up to Machu Picchu. Bus tickets for Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Aguas Calientes are included.
The tour begins at the entrance checkpoint, where you will ascend. After the ascent, you will arrive at the platform/ terrace area, where you can enjoy a panoramic view and capture the classic postcard photo.
The tour continues to the central part of the citadel, where you can observe the stone quarries and the sacred square along the way. You will then descend to the area where the Sacred Rock is located. Finally,  visit the Eastern Qolqas, the Water Mirrors, and Pisonay Plaza.

 

Day 11 - Cusco - Bogotá

After breakfast and check-out, your dedicated driver will transfer you to Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport for your flight to “The Athens of South America”, Bogotá.

Upon arrival, you will need to clear customs and immigration. After, collect your luggage and proceed to the exit, where a dedicated driver will greet you with an Air Canada Vacations sign with your name on it and take you to your hotel for check-in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 12 - Bogotá
